Burns Night Supper and Ceilidh

Following the success of last year’s Burns Night, we’re doing it all over again this January 2027, with supper at The Suffolk followed by a piper-led procession to Jubilee Hall for an evening of live music and ceilidh dancing.

The evening begins at The Suffolk with a glass of fizz and a four-course Burns Supper from the kitchen team, bringing together Scottish classics and some of our favourite Suffolk producers.

After supper, a piper will lead us from The Suffolk, along Aldeburgh High Street and to Jubilee Hall, where Kett’s Ceilidh Band will be waiting. Expect live folk music, reels, jigs and plenty of dancing, with a break for pudding and Scottish cheeses before the ceilidh gets going again.

No previous ceilidh experience required!

5.30-6pm | Arrival and a glass of fizz at The Suffolk
6-7.30pm | Four-course Burns Supper
7.30-8pm | Piper-led walk through Aldeburgh to Jubilee Hall
8-9pm | Ceilidh with Kett’s Ceilidh Band
9-9.30pm | Pudding and Scottish cheeses
9.30-10.30pm | Back to the dancing

Cullen skink with Wightman’s smoked haddock

Salter & King haggis, neeps & tatties with whisky sauce

Pudding
Raspberry cranachan, followed by a selection of Scottish cheeses with homemade oatcakes

Tickets are £100 per person, including a glass of fizz on arrival, four-course supper at The Suffolk, the piper-led procession to Jubilee Hall and the ceilidh with Kett’s Ceilidh Band.

Please arrive at The Suffolk between 5.30pm and 6pm. The evening will finish at Jubilee Hall at approximately 10.30pm.
